I'm filing this post into the rumor pit, but during Friday's Moonface show at New York's Envelope (review can be read here), Spencer Krug apparently stated that there will be a "full-fledged US tour this summer, along with an LP in August."

After The Cave Singers completed their set at the HUB Lawnapalooza this afternoon, I asked the Almighty Derek Fudesco about the name of their upcoming album, which is set to release on August 18. Now I hope I'm not just starting another Pardon My Blues/Kissing the Beehive/At Mount Zoomer rumor pit, but according to Fudesco, the album will be entitled Hello Joy Welcome Joy. August can't come soon enough.

Handsome Furs - Rumors of Face Control

Just posted at Wolf Parade's fan page, we should expect the band's sophomore effort in early February. The album, currently titled Face Control, has apparently been fully recorded, mixed, and mastered. I think I had read in an interview earlier about how Sub Pop was just waiting for all the hype of Wolf Parade's At Mount Zoomer to die down before dropping another bombshell to hungry fans. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
